Lately, I've seen quite a lot of signs popping up that read, "We served Stumptown Coffee!" in Greenpoint, and most of Brooklyn, and it also seems ubiquitous in Manhattan. In fact, a Stumptown Cafe' just opened at the Ace Hotel on 29th and Broadway (of which I will report back later). Hmmm, might have something to do with the new roaster opened up in Red Hook. Check it out:

The Greenpoint, Brooklyn cafe' for which I barista has served this fine coffee product for over a year, and I can't shout from the hilltops enough about it's quality. The accolades do not come without hard work; they are extremely responsive to mechanical repairs, coffee orders, and general inquiries about their wide selection of blends and varietals. Do yourself a favor, and go to your nearest Stumptown purveyor. You'll thank me when that sweet chocolaty citric espresso (aptly named Hair Bender) is dancing on your tongue.
